Summer DJ Boom Box Residencies: Mursi Layne. 7/21 Brooklyn Museum.
Mursi Layne spins an open format set that includes hip-hop, club, dancehall, soca, electronic, and soul.
Our Summer DJ series continues this week with Mursi Layne. He will be spinning from 6-8pm as he takes over the boom boxes in the Tom Sachs's installation Boombox Retrospective: 1999-2016. There will also be a Happy Hour from 6-8pm.
Come at 4pm and try your hand at Defender, the classic 1980's space alien archade game that is also a boom box. Bring your quarters, and your A game!
