Teen Movie Night: Selma at the Brooklyn Museum. 1/22/16. 4:30-8PM

Inspired by the exhibition Agitprop!, this Teen Movie Night features the film "Selma".

Inspired by the exhibition Agitprop!, this Teen Movie night features the film Selma (Ava DuVernay, 2014, 128 min., PG-13), a chronicle of Martin Luther King Jr’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965. Screening begins promptly at 4:45pm.

Planned by teens, for teens. Watch fun, thought-provoking, engaging, humorous, creative, and inspiring films with your friends at our free Teen Movie Nights. Our teen curators show a film inspired by a work of art, a special exhibition, or a collection, feature a gallery activity, present a talkback, and provide snacks. For teens 13 and over.
