BROOKLYN, NY — Two outdoor spaces in nearby Fort Greene and Clinton Hill are getting an upgrade.

The city's Parks and Recreation Department has set up two meetings next week, both to start gathering ideas about the reconstruction of an outdoor spot off Greene Avenue.

The meetings will discuss Cuyler Gore Park, a triangular green space found near Fulton Street, and Greene Playground, found near P.S. 11 between Washington and Waverly avenues.

Hosted by Council Member Laurie Cumbo, the local community board and parks officials, the meetings will be held virtually. They are what is known as "scope meetings," or public meetings set up in the early stages of a project to get community input.

WHEN: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12
