Video: Ceiling Collapses At Barclays Center Subway

A straphanger posted video to Twitter Friday alerting the MTA, "your ceilings are falling on people again."

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- Hole-y hell.

Bits of ceiling at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center train station collapsed and crashed on to the 4 and 5 train platform at about 8:30 a.m. Friday morning, according to video and the MTA.

Twitter user @SarahIsSorry posted video of stunned straphangers staring at the gaping hole that has since been viewed more than 18,000 times.

MTA officials alerted passengers to expect delays as 4 and 5 trains bypassed the station in both directions.

"We're aware of this situation and our crews are responding to get this taken care of," the MTA replied to Sarah's Tweet.

Another Tweeting straphanger responded, "Whoa and gross."
