Queens Pub Stabbing Leaves 1 Dead, Another Hospitalized: Police
A dispute at Kelly's Pub in Flushing turned deadly Sunday night, police said.

FLUSHING, NY — A 45-year-old man is dead and another man is hospitalized after a dispute at Kelly's Pub in Flushing led to the pair stabbing each other Sunday night, police said in a news release Monday.
One of the men, 45-year-old Elliot Ortiz, died at the hospital after apparently being stabbed in the head around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, according to police. The other man, Jason Schuler, 39, is in stable condition after apparently being stabbed in the back, police said.
Schuler, who is from Queens, has been arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the stabbing, police said.
