QUEENS, NY — A drug dealer used an abandoned Queens home as a stash house for more than $10 million worth of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, prosecutors said.

Victor Rodriguez, 43, faces a 112-count indictment in connection to the drug and firearm stockpile in Bellerose, authorities said Wednesday.

"One can’t even calculate how many lives would have been cut short or ruined by the millions of dollars worth of lethal narcotics and deadly weapons that were found," said Melinda Katz, Queens' district attorney, in a statement.

A contractor stumbled upon the stash house May 30 after the abandoned home at 249-27 88th Rd., near 250th Street, was sold, prosecutors said.

NYPD officers searched the property the next day and found a trove of drugs and guns, prosecutors said, including:

  • About 1.5 million glassine envelopes containing either heroin or heroin and fentanyl
  • with a street value of approximately $10 million
  • Eight kilos of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl with a street value of roughly $500,000
  • Five loaded P80 9-millimeter ghost gun semiautomatic pistols
  • Seven other pistols
  • Five complete ghost gun kits
  • Twenty-dive high-capacity ammunition feeding devices
  • More than 200 rounds of assorted ammunition

The search also uncovered two parking summonses for an SUV tied to Rodriguez, authorities said.

Rodriguez was spotted on surveillance video running back and forth from the abandoned property with two coolers that investigators believe, based on photos, contained about 15 kilos of drugs, prosecutors said.

The 112-count indictment against Rodriguez includes charges of operating as a major trafficker, criminal possession of a controlled substance and numerous weapons offenses.

Rodriguez, who faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted, is due in court next Nov. 6.
