14 Injured, Including 12 Firefighters After 4-Alarm NYC Fire
Fire marshals will determine the cause of the fire.
QUEENS, NY — 14 people were injured, including 12 firefighters, after a four-alarm fire at a home in Queens.
The blaze broke out at 26-26 93 St. in East Elmhurst just before 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The fire started on the top floor of the home and quickly spread to the adjacent home. Over 200 firefighters responded to the scene.

One of the floors in the home collapsed, injuring at least three firefighters.
The 12 injured firefighters were taken to a local hospital for treatment and are expected to survive. Two civilians also suffered injuries in the fire.

The fire was placed under control around 5 p.m.
