19-Year-Old Shot In Car, Seriously Injured: PD
The teenager was a passenger in a car when he was shot and seriously injured, police say.
DEER PARK, NY — A teenager was seriously injured when he was shot in Deer Park on Thursday night, Suffolk County Police said.
According to police, a 19-year-old male passenger in a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu was shot at the intersection of Bayshore Road and Commack Road at 9:44 p.m.
The car was then stopped by police a short distance away, an ambulance was called, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
