4 Injured After 9 Vehicle Crash On Expressway In Queens
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
QUEENS, NY — At least four people were injured after a nine car crash on the Long Island Expressway in Queens Friday morning.
The crash and the pile up happened on the expressway near 27th Street in Long Island City approaching the Midtown Tunnel, police said.
The crash shut down all westbound lanes of the expressway. Video from the CitizenApp show the extent of the damage caused by the crash, one car was seen on top of another vehicle following the incident.

One person is in critical condition and three others suffered serious injuries, according to the FDNY.
