QUEENS, NY — A person was struck and killed by a subway train at a Queens subway station Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at the Grand Avenue-Newtown subway station in Elmhurst around noon, police said.
The victim was struck by a Manhattan-bound M train. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
E, F, M and R train service was suspended after the incident. Service has since been restored in both directions.
Additional details on the victim have been released yet.
An investigation remains ongoing.
