2. Eight-Building Rockaway Village Complex Completes Construction in Far Rockaway, Queens (newyorkyimby.com) — A massive new affordable housing complex, Rockaway Village, has just finished construction in Far Rockaway, bringing 1,700 income-restricted apartments, new shops, and community space to Queens. The pair reunited in Queens days later as city officials honored the firefighter’s quick-thinking rescue that was captured in dramatic photos.
5. Bandido Credits MJF for Guiding and Helping Him (411mania.com) — Queens wrestling fans can catch AEW’s Double or Nothing 2026 live at Louis Armstrong Stadium, where Bandido enters the Owen Hart Cup tournament against Swerve Strickland.
