2 Wanted For $150k Robbery Spree In Queens: What To Know

QUEENS, NY —Police are asking for the public's help identifying two people wanted in connection with a series of robberies reported across Queens.

Police said the incidents occurred between Aug. 14 and Aug. 19 and involved victims being approached after vehicle collisions or while near their vehicles. In each case, two suspects were involved and at least one displayed a firearm.

On Aug. 14 near 138-18 57th Road, police said a 40-year-old man was sideswiped by a white Acura TLX. When he exited his BMW X3 to inspect the damage, two suspects allegedly approached, displayed a firearm and stole his vehicle, wallet and other property. The total value of the stolen items was estimated at $44,630.

The following day, near 168-06 Linden Boulevard, two suspects allegedly approached a 32-year-old man and stole a Rolex, wallet, handbag and about $4,000. Police said one suspect struck the victim in the head with a firearm, causing a laceration. The stolen property was valued at approximately $67,900.

On Aug. 19 near 82-14 155th Avenue, a 26-year-old man was allegedly sideswiped by a dark-colored BMW. Police said two suspects approached him after he exited his vehicle, with one displaying a firearm and forcibly taking a necklace and other belongings. The stolen property was valued at approximately $46,230. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the robberies to contact the NYPD.
