3 Injured, Including 2 Firefighters, In NYC 2-Alarm Fire

The fire seems to have started in the basement of the building.

QUEENS, NY — Three people including two firefighters were injured in a two-alarm fire in Queens Thursday.

The blaze broke out at 109-35 110th Street in South Ozone Park around 4:40 a.m.

The fire seems to have started in the basement of the building.

One firefighter suffered serious injuries and another suffered minor injuries.

A civilian was also treated for minor injuries.

The fire was put under control just before 6:20 a.m., the FDNY said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
