QUEENS, NY — A teen was shot in Queens over the weekend, police said.
The shooting happened near Beach 43rd Street and Beach Channel Drive around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Officers found a 17-year-old teen with a gunshot wound in the chest.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
What led up to the incident is not known at this time.
No arrests have been made yet.
