QUEENS, NY — A 20-year-old man died while in custody inside Queens Criminal Court on Wednesday.
Luis Alberto Lopez Castillo, was found in medical distress around 6:30 p.m.
After receiving CPR from corrections staff, the 20-year-old was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to authorities, Castillo was facing murder, manslaughter, robbery and weapon charges in connection to an incident in the Bronx last year.
