QUEENS, NY — A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after being in shot in Queens Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened near 51-24 Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway around 3:35 p.m.
The teen was shot in the back, police said. He has since been taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests have been made. What led up to the shooting is not known at this time.
An investigation remains ongoing.
