QUEENS, NY — The NYPD has identified a 14-year-old boy killed in a shooting in Queens on Monday.
Malakai Adams was found shot in the back near 51-24 Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway around 3:35 p.m., police said.
Adams was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made. What led up to the shooting is not known at this time.
An investigation remains ongoing.
