Science lovers&nbsp;ages 6 to 8 years old&nbsp;will love exploring nature and science at APEC!&nbsp; Each weekly program will focus on a different topic and have live animal guests, hands-on activities, and outdoor time. Sign up for as many weeks as fit with your schedule. $325 per week, per child. Receive a $10 discount if registering for 3-5 weeks or a $20 discount if registering for all 6 weeks. Science lovers ages 6 to 8 years old will love exploring nature...

Let’s get ready for Pre-K! APEC provides a unique educational experience and prepares children for the preschool classroom. Each session incorporates motivating science lessons, hands-on learning experiences, and school readiness skills like letter recognition, shapes, numbers, counting and much more.&nbsp; Live animals, nature walks, and great children’s literature create an immersive learning environment. Children bring lunch to enjoy at the end of the program. For ages 3 - 4 drop off.&nbsp; Classes will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from July 6 to July 31 for a total of 12 classes.&nbsp; Cost $396 per child.&nbsp;&nbsp; ​ Children must be able to use the bathroom independently to participate. No diapers or pull-ups. New Students must attend a "meet the teacher" session prior to the first class. Classes are not offered individually.&nbsp;Spots are limited.

Featured speakers include Adam Gordon of Wildflower Studios, Catherine Nasch of United Scenic Artists, and Josh Levin of the Motion Picture Association, who will share insights on industry trends, jobs, and investment in our area.
We will also hear updates from Layla Musawwir of NYC Ferry and Victor Prado of the Queens Economic Development Corporation, highlighting transportation and economic development initiatives that support Western Queens.
