SaturBAY is Guardians of Flushing Bay's annual end-of-season celebration and online fundraiser! Celebrate with us IN-PERSON at a free family-friendly, art-focused Climate Week cookout and ONLINE by donating to our work. Our 2026 theme is “Making it Happen: Manifesting A Field Station for Flushing Bay,” where we will come together to imagine radical, inclusive, and equitable futures for the Flushing Bay waterfront and celebrate a floating field station coming to the Bay in 2027!
The in-person event starts with a scavenger hunt and walking tour from Flushing Meadows Corona Park (FMCP) to the cookout site at the FMCP Public Kayak/Canoe Launch. The scavenger hunt and walking tour runs from 11am-1pm and the cookout runs from 1pm-3pm.
At the cookout, we'll have live music, food, and art workshops. All activities and food are FREE with registration. Register or donate at givebutter.com/SATURBAY2026
The event is being hosted on parkland which means all Parks Department rules apply to this event, including the prohibition of alcohol or smoking on site.
