Man Beaten, Pulled From Wheelchair In NYC Subway Station Attack

Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday.

QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who attacked a man in a wheelchair inside a subway station last week.

The incident happened at the Junction Boulevard subway station on May 4 around 6:30 a.m.

According to police, a 59-year-old man in a wheelchair got into an argument with the suspect.

The argument quickly escalated, and the suspect began punching the victim repeatedly.

The suspect then dragged the man out his wheelchair and continued to attack him, police said.

The 59-year-old man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment.

The suspect fled the scene after the attack.

No arrests have been made. An investigation remains ongoing.
