National Voter Registration Day: Where In Queens You Can Register

National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, Sept. 24. Here's where in Queens you can go to register.

QUEENS — National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, Sept. 24, and city officials are urging New Yorkers to make sure they can vote in the next election in November.

The deadline to register in order to vote in the upcoming general election is Oct. 11.

Registered voters will be able to vote early from Oct. 26 to Nov. 3 this year, as well as on Election Day on Nov. 5.

"Voting is the great equalizer – giving each one of us a voice and a chance to create the change we want to see," Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement. "Together we can build a stronger democracy."
