NYPD Arrests School Safety Officer In Queens

A Queens-based NYPD School Safety Agent was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

QUEENS, NY — An NYPD school safety agent found herself in handcuffs after accusations arose involving the treatment of a child, authorities said.

Police in Queens on Tuesday arrested Kiara Moore, 24, on the charge of endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.

Moore was arrested at about 1 p.m. in Queens' 103rd Precinct, which covers downtown Jamaica Business District, Hollis Park Gardens, Hollis, Lakewood and Jamaica, according to the NYPD.
