New York, New York — Since its founding in 2021, One Hundred Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. has emerged as a powerful force for mentorship, leadership development, and community uplift across the Eastern New York and Downstate region. Rooted in a proud legacy of service and guided by the nationally recognized mission of the 100 Black Men movement, the organization continues to transform lives while preparing the next generation for success.
Established during a time period with unprecedented challenges, the organization was formed with a clear purpose: to improve the quality of life within Black and underserved communities by focusing on four foundational pillars mentoring, education, health and wellness, and economic empowerment. From its earliest days, One Hundred Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. has committed itself to action, not rhetoric, building a grassroots presence that responded directly to community needs.
Among its earliest milestones was articulating the need for structured youth mentoring initiatives designed to provide guidance, accountability, and exposure to positive male role models. These programs are projected to be a cornerstone of the organization’s work, connecting young people with professionals and leaders who exemplify excellence, integrity, and service.

As the organization matures it is seeking to expanded its impact through economic empowerment efforts, professional networking forums, leadership development programs, and strategic partnerships with civic, educational, and business institutions. Health and wellness programming further broadened the organization’s reach, addressing disparities that disproportionately affect communities of color.
