Teen Fatally Shot At NYC Park Identified, Shooter Still At Large

QUEENS, NY — A teenager shot and killed at a park in Queens Thursday evening has been identified, police said.

Jaden Pierre, 15, was found shot in the chest inside Roy Wilkins Park around 6:15 p.m.

He was taken to Jamaica Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, there may have been an argument on the basketball courts between the victim and the possible shooter.

No arrests have been made yet. A description of a suspect has not been released.

An investigation remains ongoing.
