Two Men Sentenced To 10 Years For Child Sex Trafficking In Queens: DA
Lawrence Winslow, 28, and Alan Velvett, 29, were sentenced to 10 years in prison for trafficking of a child and rape, the district attorney.
QUEENS — Two men were sentenced to prison after they posted nude photographs of three underage teenage girls online and forced them to have sex with strangers, the Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.
Lawrence Winslow, 28, and Alan Velvett, 29, were sentenced to 10 years in prison after taking nude photographs of three teenagers – ages 13, 14, and 15 – and posting them online, stating that the girls were “for sale” in February 2021 in Queens, prosecutors said.
Winslow and Velvett will also be required to register as sex offenders upon release, Katz said.

Both men first met the 13-year-old and the 14-year-old girls at La Quinta Inn in Long Island City, and they took nude photos of the teenagers and posted them online, the district attorney.
One of the girls had sex with a stranger and the two men kept all the money from the exchange, prosecutors said.

Winslow and Velvett also met the 15-year-old girl at the La Quinta Inn, and they took nude photos of her and posted them online. She was also forced to have sex with Winslow and several strangers, Katz said.
Both men face charges of sex trafficking of a child and rape, the district attorney said.
