OZONE PARK, QUEENS — A massive fire in Ozone Park midday Friday drove 140 firefighters to the scene, the FDNY said.
The four-alarm fire started about 12:45 p.m. at 97-13 101st Ave. in Queens, then spread to a neighboring building as firefighters worked to get the blaze under control. The process took about an hour and a half, with firefighters quenching the flames about 2:24 p.m., the FDNY said.
Two firefighters suffered injuries but refused medical attention, according to the FDNY.

Videos and photographs posted to Citizen and social media show a crowd of onlookers watching as firefighters worked to quench the bright orange flames.
