Woman Crossing Queens Street Dies After She's Hit By 2 Cars
The collision happened Christmas Day around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of 158th Street and 111th Avenue, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A woman is dead after she was struck by two cars while crossing a Queens street on Christmas Day, police said.
According to an NYPD spokesperson, the collision happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of 11th Avenue and 158th Street. Police said a person driving an unknown vehicle was traveling west on 111th Avenue when they struck a 45-year-old woman crossing the road outside a marked crosswalk.
The driver knocked the woman into the road and kept going, police said. Shortly after, a Ford Expedition driven by a 64-year-old man also traveling west on 111th Avenue struck the woman as she was lying in the roadway.

First responders took the woman to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she later died.
The driver of the Expedition remained at the scene, police said. No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing.
