1 Airlifted After Dirt Bike Crash: Police
The crash took place in Calverton Friday afternoon, police say.
CALVERTON, NY — One person was airlifted after a dirt bike crash in Calverton Friday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place just after 3 p.m. on Edwards Avenue in the vicinity of a motorsports facility and track.
First responders at the scene reportedly said that the dirt bike rider was having difficulty breathing but police could not immediately confirm that information.
