Downtown restaurant offers line dancing every Saturday night at 10 p.m.

You know, you don't have to leave Riverhead to find a taste of some good old fashioned country line dancing.
Each Saturday night at 10 p.m., hosts line dancing, which is open to anyone and everyone. Co-owner Vic Prusinowski said the events have been "packed every Saturday night" since they .
"We did a lot of research around the country and a lot of restaurants with country-western themes do this," he said. "MyCountry 96.1FM, who we do a lot of advertising with, actually suggested it to us. And it's doing very well."

Riverhead Patch covered the in August, shortley after the restaurant opened.
"We figured, you know, why not do a country night where no one is doing it in our area?" said , who owns Cody's along with Prusinowski. "And a Saturday too, so no one has to get up early in the morning."

Prusinowski said a line dance instructor leads the dancing, and is a help for those who aren't familiar with line dancing.
