15-Year-Old Shot To Death In Calverton: Police

CALVERTON, NY — A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed during a dispute in Calverton Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Suffolk County police homicide detectives are investigating the shooting, which took place at Hill Circle at 3:55 p.m., authorities said.

There was a dispute between two groups of teenagers and the 15-year-old was shot; he was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead, police said.
