2 Busted After Being Found With Drugs At 55+ Community In Riverhead: PD
Both the individuals were accused of intending to sell the narcotics, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Two people were arrested in a drug bust at a senior living community in Riverhead Friday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, on Friday at about 6:16 a.m., the Suffolk County District Attorney's East End Drug Task Force, the Riverhead Police Department's detective bureau, the Riverhead Police Department's Community-Oriented Policing Enforcement unit, a Riverhead Police Department K-9 unit, and Suffolk County Police executed a search warrant at John Wesley Village, located at Aldersgate.
Daniel McCloud, 45, and Rosa Clinton, 75, both of Riverhead, were arrested at the scene, police said.

McCloud was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug aggregate weight, a Class A-II felony; third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug intent to sell, a Class B felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales, a misdemeanor, police said.
Clinton was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug aggregate weight, a Class A-II felony; third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug intent to sell, a class B felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.
