2 Injured In Jamesport Crash Involving Tractor Trailer, SUV: Police

JAMESPORT, NY — Two people were injured in a Thursday morning crash between a tractor trailer and an SUV on Main Road in Jamesport, police said.

According to New York State Police on the scene, the crash took place at just before 9 a.m. on Route 25, just east of Manor Lane.

Police said it appeared that the driver of the SUV may have crossed over the double yellow line, crashing into the tractor trailer, but the investigation is ongoing.

Two injuries were reported, police said, but they were not believed to be life threatening, police said.

Traffic was diverted in both directions as the investigation commenced.
