2 Men Charged With Burglary In Riverhead: Police
The burglary is considered to be an isolated incident, police said.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Two men were arrested and charged with burglary in Riverhead Thursday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, at 8:04 a.m., a 911 call came in regarding a burglary in progress at 625 East Main Street.
The Riverhead Police Department's patrol division officers responded, locating and detaining two men who had attempted to flee the area, police said.

Detectives arrested Shareem Giles, 51, and Saquan Blount, 23, both of Riverhead, and charged them with second-degree burglary, police said.
Both men were processed and held for arraignment, police said.

At the present time, the burglary is considered to be an isolated incident, police said.
