2 Men Steal Credit Cards, Buy $2K In Gift Cards, iPad from Target: PD
They stole the credit cards from a purse in ShopRite, then purchased the $2K gift cards and an iPad in Target, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the men who used credit cards from a pocketbook they stole at a Riverhead store this month to buy $2,000 worth of gift cards and an iPad, authorities said.
Two men entered ShopRite, located at 1510 Old Country Road in Riverhead, on July 15, police said. One of the men stole a pocketbook containing credit cards from a shopping cart; both left the store and purchased the $2,000 worth of gift cards and an iPad with the stolen credit cards from Target, located at 1150 Old Country Road, police said.
