2 Men Stole 4 Nintendo Switch Controllers From Game Stop: Cops

Have you seen these men? Police are looking for them.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for two men who stole Nintendo Switch controllers from GameStop in Riverhead, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the men, who stole four of Nintendo Switch controllers from the GameStop located at 1080 Old Country Rd. on Jan. 11 at 6:40 p.m., police said.

The controllers were valued at $80 each, police said.

The first man was described to be in his mid to late 20s; he was wearing blue jeans, a blue flannel shirt and a black jacket, police said. The second suspect was also described as in his mid to late 20s; he was wearing a black jacket and black clothes, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
