2 Residential Burglaries Reported In Riverhead: Cops

The two homes are located next to one another, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Two homes, located next door to one another, were burglarized in Riverhead, police said.

According to the Riverhead Police Department, two reports of residential burglaries were received on July 10 at 8 p.m. The first involved a resident on East Ave. who said someone entered the home and removed an undetermined amount of U.S. currency, police said. The second individual, who lives next door on East Ave., also reported that someone entered the residence and removed an undetermined amount of money, police said.

Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded to assist in the investigation, police said.
