3 Men Charged With Stealing Guns, Ammo From Riverhead Business: PD

2 handguns, as well as firearm ammunition, apparel, bags and gun accessories, were reported stolen, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Three Riverhead men were arrested Monday and charged with stealing handguns, ammunition and gun accessories from a firearms manufacturing and sales business, police said.

According to Riverhead Town police, on Monday at 1:48 p.m., a call came in from Niosi Firearms Development, LLC on Elton Street in reference to a prior burglary. Two handguns, as well as firearm ammunition, apparel, bags and gun accessories, were reported stolen, police said.

An extensive investigation was conducted, which resulted in the arrest of three men, as well as the recovery of stolen property, police said.

Timothy J. Stark, 28, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary; two counts of third-degree burglary; second-degree criminal possession of a weapon; and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

Michael B. Quinn, 35, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary; third-degree burglary; second-degree criminal possession of a weapon; third-degree criminal possession of a weapon; third-degree criminal sale of a firearm; and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

Aaron Vasquez, 28, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree burglary, police said.

All three were held for arraignment, police said.
