3 Women Stole More Than $2K In Merchandise From Walmart: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — Three women stole more than $2,000 worth of assorted merchandise from Walmart, police said.

According to Riverhead Police, a grand larceny investigation is underway regarding the incident, which took place on Nov. 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the Walmart located at 1890 Old Country Road in Riverhead.

The three females entered the Walmart and removed the merchandise without paying; they were seen leaving the area in a tan/light brown Chevy Malibu four-door sedan, police said.
