3rd Annual North Fork Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival Set To Unfold
The favorite annual event is slated to take place on June 24 at Jamesport Vineyards.
JAMESPORT, NY — A favorite event will be unfolding on the North Fork again soon, as New York Wine Events hosts its 3rd Annual North Fork Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 24, with two sessions, either from noon to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jamesport Vineyards.
"The festival will feature more than 20 wineries from Long Island and beyond with 100-plus wines to taste, light bites including cheeses, charcuterie, crudités, breads, and crackers, plus numerous sampling tables from an array of artisanal food and beverage companies," a release said.

Guests can keep their complimentary custom wine tasting glass as a souvenir; they can also purchase selections by the bottle or case.
“It’s always a joy to be out in Long Island wine country and to be able to showcase the region’s noteworthy wines and provide wine lovers — from novices to those with a more seasoned palate — with a very up close and personal experience featuring a stunning vineyard as the backdrop," said Sam Kimball, founder, New York Wine Events.

Winemakers represented will include Brooklyn Oenology & As If Wines, Harbes Vineyards, Hound’s Tree, Jamesport Vineyards, The Lenz Winery, Lieb Cellars, Martha Clara Vineyards, Pugliese Vineyards, Palmer Vineyards, Raphael Vineyards, Saltbird Cellars, Sannino Vineyard, Sherwood House Vineyards, Suhru Wines, and T’Jara Vineyards, plus Don Tony Perez Wines, from Chile, KAS Spirits, from Putnam County, Laureate Wine Imports, Slovenian wines, Ma Lung Winery, of Brooklyn, Taconic Distillery, of Dutchess County, 13th & Third Wines, of California and New York, and Yankee Folly Cidery, of Hudson Valley.
Select artisan food and beverage makers from the East End as well as an array of companies from "points beyond" will offer tastes including baked goods, chocolates, jams, teas, chips, and more, organizers said.
The event will also feature music by the Kenny Harris Trio.
“With two popular and successful North Fork Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festivals in recent years, we’re pleased to have New York Wine Events once again return to our vineyard for this annual event,” said Ron Goerler, Jr., president, Jamesport Vineyards, host winery for the event. “This is a wonderful opportunity for North Fork and East End wineries to promote the region and raise awareness about the high quality and diversity of our locally produced wines and artisan fare.”
Tickets for the North Fork Crush are on sale and priced at $65 and up, depending upon time of purchase.
