4 Nabbed In DWI Crackdown: Cops
The enforcement took place at locations around Riverhead, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Four drunk drivers were nabbed as part of a DWI crackdown in Riverhead, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the 4 individuals were busted as part of the continuing efforts by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s DWI Task Force.
Members of the Riverhead Police Department and the Quogue Village Police Department conducted increased enforcement throughout Riverhead Town Wednesday night, where several checkpoints had been established throughout the evening, police said.

Arrested and charged in the enforcement detail, according to Riverhead Police, were:
Ralph W. Tuthill, 65, of Mattituck was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

Susan Strein, 57, of Bellport, was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
Jessica M Coleman, 26, of Copiague, charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
Taneasha Walker, 25, of Southampton, charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
All 4 subjects were transported to the Riverhead Police Department where they were processed and held awaiting morning arraignment, police said.
Similar enforcement details are scheduled to continue throughout the year, police said.
