4th of July Fireworks Unfold on Peconic Riverfront in Riverhead
The annual event draws a festive crowd.

RIVERHEAD, NY - The Independence Day holiday will be celebrated in patriotic style in downtown Riverhead.
The event takes place on Sunday july 3, and is presented by the Riverhead Business Improvement District on the Peconic RIverfront.
Guests can enjoy a performance by Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could, along with face painters, stilt walkers, balloon artists and jugglers.

The Misspent Youth Band will get the party started at 6 p.m., with festivities lasting until 9:45 p.m.
A fireworks spectacular will be unveiled at 9:15 p.m.

One thousand American flags will be given away at the event.
Bring lawn chairs and get a seat on the riverfront as the fun gets underway.
Riverhead AARP volunteers will be accepting non-perishable donations for local food pantries.
