
RIVERHEAD, NY — A $50,000 winning ticket for Saturday's Powerball drawing was sold in Riverhead, the New York Lottery announced Monday.
The winning ticket was sold at Bapa Card and Gift at 763 Old Country Road, officials said.
A $1 million ticket was sold at Spetses Enterprises at 1757 Grand Avenue in Baldwin, a release from the New York Lottery said.

In addition to the $1 million prize for the January 7 Powerball drawing, which was won by matching five out of five numbers, there were a total of 38,343 winners in New York for the drawing, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were 03-12-24-37-63 and Powerball 10.

The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.
Winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery’s customer service centers statewide, including the Long Island office, locate at 45 South Service Road, in Plainview. To learn more about how to redeem a prize, click here.
