RIVERHEAD, NY — 84 Lumber will be re-opening its doors on West Main Street in Riverhead Thursday.

The store will be the first in a series of new stores to open across the country, after a growth in 2016, with revenue topping $2.86 billion, according to a release.

The 36,000 square foot facility, to be located at 1751 West Main Street, will serve both residential and commercial customers in need of building materials. The former location in Riverhead closed in 2012.

“We’re glad to be back in the Riverhead community once again,” Frank Cicero, 84 Lumber’s chief operating officer, said. “As we identified new opportunities for the company this year, we felt returning to Riverhead to help service the East End with our capabilities and high-end showroom, was an easy business decision.”
