Driver Pleads Guilty After .20 BAC, 70 MPH Crash Killed Nassau Officer: DA (patch.com) — In a case handled through the Riverhead courts, a Hauppauge man has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and related charges after a high-speed, alcohol-fueled crash killed Nassau County police officer Patricia Espinosa. Prosecutors say his blood alcohol level was .20 and he faces a potential prison term of 7⅓ to 22 years, with sentencing set for July 20.
