RIVERHEAD, NY — Downtown Riverhead was filled with music, laughter, and the sweet bliss of summer Thursday night as the popular "Alive on 25" street fair returned for the season.
The event, a free street festival known as "Riverhead's Summer Block Party," was held on Main Street in Riverhead.
The fun included live music in five places, food trucks, restaurants, craft beer, more than 50 vendors, race car exhibits, classic cars, street pickleball, and more.
As a light breeze brought relief from the days steamy temperatures, the crowd was seen dancing, feasting, enjoying time with family and friends — and embracing the magic of a beautiful summer night in Riverhead.
A second Alive on 25 event will be held on September 10.
