Maintenance worker charged in Patchogue teen kidnapping case dies in jail, report says (greaterlongisland.com) — A man charged in a high‑profile kidnapping and sex‑trafficking case involving a Patchogue teen died after a medical emergency at the Suffolk County jail and was pronounced at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. His death, now under mandatory state review, comes as multiple co‑defendants continue to face serious charges and the teen's family pursues lawsuits over her treatment in government care.
