RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after being found in possession of child pornography, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, Josue Duran, 33, was arrested Friday on Duryea Street.
Following a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program, digital forensic unit detectives executed a search warrant at the Duryea Street and arrested Duran Friday morning, police said.
Detectives seized multiple cell phones during the search, police said.
Duran was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child, police said.
Duran is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
