The Peconic Bay Medical Center Employee Recognition Awards Luncheon, held September 21st at Martha Clara Vineyards, was an occasion to celebrate employees, with 5 to 35 years of service, and to recognize employee achievements. Peconic Bay Medical Center proudly honored the loyal men and women whose many years of dedicated service, in some cases for three decades, has helped to ensure the community’s health and well-being.
“Our employees are the cornerstone of the hospital,” said Andrew Mitchell, PBMC’s President & CEO. “They approach every aspect of their job with the diligent purpose of providing quality, comprehensive care. We are extremely fortunate to have so many dedicated people working so hard for so long.”
Among the honorees were Jeanette Hommel, Coreen Huey and Jeane Rusewicz, each of who reached the 35-year mark. Five employees were commended for 30 years of dedicated service, nine for 25 years, fourteen reached the 20-year milestone and a combined total of 84 employees were recognized for 5, 10 and 15 years of dedicated service. In addition 12 employees were acknowledged for outstanding achievements in their professional field.
