Aquarium Employees Robbed In Parking Lot, 1 Punched: Cops
The robber grabbed the money bag from the parking booth and ran, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Long Island Aquarium employees were robbed in the parking lot Saturday afternoon, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the robbery took place at 3:48 p.m.; employees who work as parking lot attendants said they were robbed in the aquarium's eastern parking lot on Ostrander Avenue when an unknown man demanded that they give him the money bag from the parking booth — and one employee was punched, police said.
The robber was able to grab the bag and ran, police said. No injuries were reported.
