Beloved Cat, ShadowMan, Missing in Greenport

GREENPORT, NY-A worried family is searching desperately for their cat, who went missing Sunday night.

ShadowMan, a yellow and white kitty, has not been seen since Sunday night at his usual spot on Sound Road, near 67 Steps, in Greenport.

According to Joan Dinizio, her husband, Southold Town Councilman Jim Dinizio, normally puts ShadowMan in the house when he goes for an early daily morning walk.

“He wasn’t around on Monday morning for him to do that, and we haven’t seen him since Sunday night,” Joan said.

Their cat has been a family member for almost six years, and the community is praying that he finds his way home soon.
